Loyd J. Bourgeois is a Louisiana native from the small town of Bayou Gauche in St. Charles Parish. After earning his engineering degree from Louisiana State University, Loyd pursued his legal education at Tulane Law School, graduating cum laude. His path to law was shaped by a deeply personal experience, where he fought to secure long-term disability benefits for a relative battling brain cancer. This battle opened his eyes to the systemic challenges that individuals face. Loyd now dedicates his legal career to helping individuals fight for their rightful benefits, standing up to large insurance companies on their behalf. In 2010, Loyd founded his own law firm to focus on advocating for those facing personal injury claims. Beyond his legal work, he is an active member of his community, serving on the Board of Directors of the United Way of St. Charles and coaching youth sports. Loyd's commitment to Louisiana runs deep, from his love for LSU football to his appreciation for the state’s unique culinary traditions. Whether fighting for his clients or enjoying time on the water with his family, Loyd remains dedicated to both his practice and his Louisiana roots.
